 This machine was once the pinnacle of household cleaning technology. 

Baby Daisy'. One of the first vacuum cleaners ever.

Made in 1910, patented in 1907

A very unique item, actually a museum piece.

Needed 2 people to operate.

One person vacuumed,

the other stood on the bottom plate and moved the handle back and forth 

. The 'Daisy' Vacuum Cleaner Co. Ltd. were based in Leamington Road, Gravelly Hill, Birmingham and made cleaners in to the 1920s.
